Nooka speaks to the people who are bold enough to wear a less traditional but to wear unique designs to make a statement. Together with the Supervisory duo, we shot a campaign that stays true to Nooka's formal yet futuristic theme. The challenge was to showcase products such that Nooka was not perceived as a "watch company". Therefore needed to show more concept-driven images to create a bridge between current and future products. The whole theme is inspired by the movie, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, a science fiction movie directed by Steven Spielberg in the 70s.
The photo shoot took place in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. We hired some local talents and shot at our friend's house with a very small budget.
